World Recorder
A WoW Forever addon that records what your client sees while you play, and an uploader that sends it to wowdb.wiki. Your profile shows what you recorded: kills, loot, gathering and fishing, your rarest item and your latest quest; every player's records are combined into one data set for wowdb.wiki.
What it records
- What each creature, chest, herb or ore node drops, the corpses you looted and the creatures you killed, so a drop rate can be counted per kill.
- Skinning, mining and herbalism loot apart from corpse loot, and money drops.
- Who gives and who takes each quest, the quest text and its rewards.
- What vendors sell and at what price, what trainers teach, and the routes and fares a flight master offers.
- Fishing catches by zone, and creature levels, health and the spells they cast.
- Each of your characters: name, realm, guild, level, equipment, talents, Legacy, professions and completed quests, for your profile.
Install
On macOS open World Recorder for Mac; on Windows open the World Recorder setup. Both are on the install page. The setup installs the addon into your WoW Forever client, starts the uploader at login and opens wowdb.wiki so you can link the computer to your account.
Saving
The game writes addon data when you log out, exit or reload the interface. Type /wrsave, or click the Save button that /worldrecorder button shows, to write it without leaving the world.
Privacy
The addon sends nothing; the uploader sends the saved data to wowdb.wiki with the key of the account you linked. Unlink a computer on your profile to stop it. Details: privacy notice.
